What is an Erasmus+ Study Visit?
Study visit is a short-term stay abroad funded by the Erasmus+ Program and addressed to active workers involved in the Education and Training field, such as: teachers, school directors, trainers, professors, administrative staff and other educational professionists.
The objective of mobility is to increase the knowledge of the local operation system that participants can later compare to their own and at the same time to acquire new skills and methodologies that can be transferred at their national level.
For example, it can be interesting for foreign participants to know how immigrants are involved in the educational pathway in Spain. These practices and policies can be compared with the participant's home-country and used as Best Practices empowering the multicultural approach.
This is a great opportunity that raises awareness of more effective methodologies implemented abroad, which can inspire improvements and implementation of the new ideas.
The program can include local visits to special departments (NGO's, Educational and Training Institutions, Ministries and other European or National facilities), where participants can share experiences through workshops and open-dialogue activities during the scheduled meetings.
